A legacy, years in the making

Ned’s Landing is named after Ned Wilmer, an explorer who found PEI early in his life. Ned was an American pediatrician who visited Prince Edward Island in the late 1960s on a holiday with his wife and six children. By the end of the trip throughout the Maritimes, they had purchased an old farm a short five-minute drive from Spry Point. And so began a lifelong love affair with Prince Edward Island, which carried on to the next generations.
